Outdoor Swimming: St. Ives

Our third outdoor swim location and our second in Cornwall! We certainly made the most of our second visit to St. Ives. The weather was intermittently cloudy, but nice and dry, whereas a couple of days previous it didn't stop raining!

After chilling out on the beach for a while and watching others enter the water and make a hasty retreat after 5 or 10 minutes, we ventured into the water. It was a nice part of the bay that's looked after by the RNLI. The water was cold, colder than the tidal pool. But with a greater expanse to really get swimming, we warmed up in no time - and it seemed like no time when half an hour had passed and we slowly made our way back to our stuff.

Lucy then spent some time reading, while I spent time clambering over the rocks to the left of the bay.
