  1. Ugh!! I just don't like these critters... they can do SO much damage. I'm not ashamed to tell you that we protect our wild ginger and roses from these pesky rascals by sprinkling the soil around them with diatomaceous earth. (Does that mean we can't be Blotanical friends anymore??)

    1. hehe. We can still be friends! I know some people use nematodes and also garlic mixed in water that they spray on the plants at risk. We've been lucky in that we haven't had too many in the garden as yet this year. Enjoy your roses :)
