    Mullein seems (whether it is or it isn't such a delightful mediaeval word.

      Hi, it's a really cool word isn't it. I checked the OED website and the first recorded written use is around 1425 as 'moline', which was 'Moleyne' by 1440. The current spelling emerged in 1659. :)
