Field Bindweed - Convolvulus arvensis

Date Photographed: 20/07/2013
Location: Warminster
Resources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convolvulus_arvensis
Notes: Found this species of bindweed providing lots of colour along a road verge. Flowers are smaller than the hedge bindweed, but to varying degrees the white flower is striped with pink.

  1. Around here we consider this one of our worst garden weeds! very hard to get rid of once established. But it's pretty even so.

    1. It's considered a weed over here too. It's perfect, I think, on road verges - but I definitely wouldn't want it in my garden either!
