    Lovely plant, very easy to recognize given the colour!
    Did you know that it is one of the "species under threat" recognized by Plantlife for their Road Verge campaign? http://www.plantlife.org.uk/roadvergecampaign/flower_gallery

      Hi Sophie, I didn't know that. Thanks for the link. Luckily this patch grows on a pathside verge with a hedge inbetween it and the road - so hopefully it'll be ok.
