  1. Hello,

I'm curious why you choose to publish these Light Brown Apple Moth images at this time. I see from your map that there are quite a lot of observations of them in the UK. Do you have threats of aerial pesticide spraying of densely populated areas as a result? That is what we had here in central California, USA.

We were spreayed by low flying twin engine airplanes between midnite and 6 AM. It was not fun. People got sick but the government denied any connection. I found myself thinking I was getting a tiny taste of what the blitz must have been like in World War II.
Here, this war on the LBAM Moth was paid for by our Department of Homeland Security. I never before that understood that terrorists hoped to bring down our country with insects!

I hope your government does NOT do that to you. Believe me, at BEST, its sad and very discouraging.

  2. PS: The LBAM has turned out to be no serious threat, quite manageable, and definitely not the end of the world for agriculture as the fear mongers had told us in order to justify spraying us! -Ed
