Slender Speedwell - Veronica filiformis

I like this photo as it shows different phases of the flower appearing from the bud.
Date Photographed: 17/03/2012
Location: St. Gile Church, Stanton St. Quinton
Resources: http://www.ukwildflowers.com/Web_pages/veronica_filiformis_slender_speedwell.htm
Notes: This is an introduced species of Speedwell. Dorts at WAB advised that this hardly ever sets seed in the UK, but generally roots in new places due to grass cutting - one of its preferred habitats.
