Beadlet Anemone - Actinia equina

Date Photographed: April 2011
Location: Pembrokeshire Coast, Wales
Resources: http://www.arkive.org/beadlet-anemone/actinia-equina/#

Date Photographed: 08/09/2008
Location: Low tide at Dawlish
Notes: It's amazing how this wonderful creature can retract its tentacles, numbering well over 100, to become what looks like a mass of jelly. It can remain alive out of water as long as it stays moist.
