Notes: Like the
Sundew this plant feeds on insects that get trapped on it, to supplement the poor level of nutrients that it obtains from the soil in the habitats where it lives. The insects get trapped on the sticky hairs on the leaf blade. The plant then releases additional mucilage which keeps the insect in place at the plant digests the nutrients from the insect.
